Pricing & billing

Understand running compute, instances, provisioned storage, backups, currencies, and the difference between an estimate and an invoice.

The pricing page lists standard rates and includes a compute estimator. The dashboard shows the plans and rates currently available to your account; your invoice records the actual charges.

Compute is metered by the minute while it runs. A monthly rate describes a service running continuously for a billing month. Multiple instances are billed individually, so two equivalent instances have twice the running-compute rate.

Shared compute plans reserve RAM and use shared, burstable CPU. Dedicated CPU is an optional add-on where available. Managed database plans reserve CPU as well as memory.

Database storage is priced by provisioned capacity. At standard rates, it costs $0.25/GB/month and can be selected from 2–64 GB for supported plans. The default storage allocation is included in the displayed database total on the pricing page.

Heli Bucket is priced separately at $0.08 per provisioned GB/month, from 1–64 GB. This is a capacity reservation, not a charge based on the exact bytes stored. If auto-expand is enabled, increased provisioned capacity increases the rate.

Under standard metered billing, stopped, idle, and failed services do not accrue the metered service charge. Active, building, scheduled, and unhealthy services reserve resources and are billable. Held dedicated IPs are charged independently of service runtime; account-specific flat bundles can follow different rules. Review the account’s usage breakdown.

At standard rates, optional daily database backups add 20% of the storage fee. Static sites have a per-site rate. Cron jobs include a runtime allowance, with additional runtime charged according to the active plan. Dedicated outbound IP prices are shown in the dashboard when selecting the resource.

Buckets are not automatically backed up. Plan an independent copy for important objects; see object storage.

Nigerian billing accounts use NGN. The marketing site’s currency switch uses the published platform exchange rate when it is available. A conversion on the website is indicative; the account dashboard and issued invoice determine the actual amount.

The compute calculator uses the selected monthly rate, instance count, and fraction of each day running, with a 30-day planning month. It excludes storage, backups, dedicated CPU, dedicated IPs, and any applicable taxes or payment fees.

For an API workflow, call List plans and explicitly choose a planKey before creating a service. Omitting a plan can select the cheapest matching plan, which may not be sufficient for your workload.

Stopping, deleting, and purging have different effects. Export data you need before deletion and verify that the copy is usable. Check service-specific retention behavior; a restore window for service metadata is not a general backup guarantee for every storage type.

For a billing question, contact support with the invoice or service identifier. Do not send card details, keys, or database credentials.
